How to Play Baccpo

Baccpo is a game that combines the elements of blackjack and baccarat. As in blackjack, each player competes against the dealer. The cards, however, are valued similarly to baccarat, and the hands are scored similarly.

  • The cards are scored in the same way that they are in baccarat. Specifically:
    • 1 point for aces
    • Pip value = 2s to 9s
    • 10's and face cards = 0 points.
  • As in blackjack, all players compete against the dealer.
  • The game begins with the player and dealer each receiving two cards. One dealer card will face up, and the other is turned face down, just like in blackjack.
  • The player will be given the opportunity of standing or taking another card.
  • The dealer then turns over his other card after all players have acted. If the dealer has five or less points or two threes, he takes a third card.
  • Hand scoring is similar to baccarat, with the score being the last digit of the total number of points.
  • In the event of a tie, the three-card hand will take precedence over the two-card hand. Otherwise, a tie will be declared if two hands with identical points and cards are dealt with.
  • The best hand is a three-card nine consisting of three threes.
  • A player's 3-3-3 hand will always win and payout 3 to 1.
  • Any winning player with a seven-point hand will receive a payout of one to two.
  • If any other person wins, they will be paid 1 to 1.
  • Any 9-point tie in which both hands have the same number of cards will go to the player. All other ties are to be pushed.
  • If the dealer holds the better hand, the player loses.
