Indian Super League Live Score: Hyderabad are confident against struggling Odisha
High on faith after holding Mumbai City FC table-toppers to a draw, Hyderabad FC will look forward
to continuing their excellent work when they take on Odisha FC laggards in Tuesday's Indian Super
League.
In what was one of their most challenging matches, Hyderabad picked up a valuable point against
Mumbai. The Nizams put on a gritty display, recording their third clean sheet of the season,
restricting Mumbai to a goalless draw on a side that scored the most this season.
Hyderabad coach Manuel Marquez will hope for more of the same from his side after an improved
performance against the Islanders when they face bottom-placed Odisha FC. A win against FC Goa, who
currently occupy third, will bring Hyderabad lifted.
The last time both met is early in the season. Hyderabad got the best of an injury-marred Odisha
thanks to Aridane Santana's penalty.
Hyderabad will start favourites with a form on their side again, but this time around Marquez
expects a different Odisha challenge.
After a demoralizing loss against Chennaiyin FC, Odisha came into the game, their seventh defeat of
the season, which is also the most by any team. They only have six points in their kitty, and their
playoff aspirations will be further dented by something less than a victory on Tuesday.
But despite the odds stacked against them, coach Stuart Baxter of Odisha hopes for an enhanced
display against Hyderabad, who he has labelled as one of the league's most top sides.
